phpbb在语言切换最强！

语言包太大了.要加进去要点时间.
建议把模版函数文件改改.

难度太大，我还是从网络技术上突破，采用ADDON域名 - 绑米技术。

我是具体这样搞的，主域名www.eswnman.com是中文土木论坛，我又申请了一个英文土木论坛的域名www.civil-forum.com，这样就可以实现addon捆绑 - 需要两个域名。

我的问题是：（1）它们共用一个数据库名吗？估计是。要不然，怎么叫捆绑，若两套注册系统，很烦人。
                  （2）如果用再加上X-SPACE门户系统，用子域名、子目录搞，能不能和以上两个整合？
                          这样，门户系统x-space、中文土木、英文土木，就用一个用户注册系统，可以吗？
有什么问题值得注意，高手们。。。。先谢谢啦。

what about creating an extra column for storing the english name, and call it when necessary.

Because forum name is really some data, not language.....well that is my opinion

You can switch in between "Chinese" and "English". The total members and whose who last registered are exactly same.

it is good to hear you can fix it...

however I do not think mixing english and chinese together is a good idea for forum, because, content of threads can't fully translate all the time....

welll...again..this is only my opinion...by the way...good job

Actually, I installed two seperate forums, one Chinese and another English. There is nothing at all involving language translation.

However, I now share the profiles of the users and registeration info in between two forums, they are totally disconnected in terms of forum design, while they are well connecetd in terms of contents, users and many more.

You can visit my two forums by one user name and passord.
